Janice Arlene Parry, 69, died Oct. 12, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Aug. 5, 1938, in rural Jewell, the daughter of Howard Kenneth and Leona Mabel Plumly Lienberger. She was a longtime Hutchinson resident. She was a homemaker.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post No. 68 Auxiliary, and the V.F.W. Bob Campbell Post No. 1361 Auxiliary. She was formerly of the Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chapter No. 1371.
On Dec. 22, 1979, she married Delbert Parry in Beloit. He died Aug. 31, 1983. On Aug. 28, 1998, she married Lester Thomas in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: five sons, David Bohnert, Kansas City, Dennis Bohnert, Concordia, Edward Bohnert, Apoka, Fla., Duane Bohnert, Kansas City, and Terry Bohnert, Kansas City; four daughters, Alice Colby, Beloit, Karen Davis, Kimberly and Kristen; a brother, Gary Lienberger, Pomona, Calif.; a sister, Mary Lou Foskett, Amarillo, Texas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Gary Salmans presiding. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton.
