Obituary

ARLINGTON – Janice Kay Shultz, 72, died Monday, June 1, 2015, at her daughter's home in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born May 24, 1943, in Wichita, to Leo and Mary Bridgeman.

Janice married Bruce F. Shultz on March 8, 1963, in Haven. They made their home on a farm near Arlington. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, quilting, and in later years, embroidering. Janice loved her church and having her grand and great-grandkids at the farm. She retired in May 2014 from Partridge Grade School as a Title One aide.

She is survived by: two daughters, Cindy Wilcox of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Chris Kirk and husband Daniel of Fort Worth, Texas; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Bruce Shultz; and a brother, Larry Bridgeman.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at Westside Baptist Church, 400 West 12th, Hutchinson, with Pastor Eldon Smith presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. with the family to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary.
