Jarold "Jerry" Beach, 63, died Feb. 5, 2010, at his home in Columbus, Neb.
He was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Hutchinson, the son of Roy E. "Leroy" and Bonnie M. Lemen Beach.
He graduated in 1964, from Haven High School, Haven. A resident of Columbus, Neb., he was a Retired CWO4 Naval Officer, from the U.S. Navy, and was a supervisor for 10 years with Kanox. He traveled many places throughout his naval career. After his retirement, he spent 10 years in Hutchinson before moving to Nebraska in 2006.
On Sept. 10, 1967, he married Jacqueline "Jackie" Phillips in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Jerry Lee Beach and wife Dawn, Columbus, Neb., and their children, Bradley, and Brandon; and David Beach, Denver, Colo.; daughters, Pamela Boughey and husband Ron, Orlando, Fla., and their children, Jared, Mason, David, and Marissa; and Deanna Bradley and husband Matt, Richland, Neb., and their children, Alexis and Maddison; a brother, Ronnie Beach and wife Sharon, Hutchinson; and a sister, Annette Glascock, Rifle, Colo.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 10, 2010, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Eldon Smith presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
