Jean Ann Arbuckle's Obituary
Jean Ann Arbuckle, 84, died March 14, 2008, at Hospice House.
She was born March 15, 1923, in Salina, the daughter of J. Roy and Grace A. Williams Miller. She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed traveling, trips to England, winters in Mexico and her Evergreen, Colorado home. In the 1950 to 1960s, she was a championship level golfer at Prairie Dunes Country Club and a member of the Hutchinson Women's Golf Association.
On Nov. 4, 1944, she married Thomas E. Arbuckle Jr. at Hutchinson. He died March 22, 1993.
Survivors include: three sons, Thomas E. Arbuckle III, Little River, Jeffrey D. Arbuckle and wife Kathy, Wichita, and John A. Arbuckle, Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Allison Taylor, Tommer Arbuckle, Rebecca Arbuckle and Lindsay Arbuckle; and a great-grandson, Luke Charles Taylor.
Private services are planned. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
