Obituary

Jean Louise Freeseman, 64, of Hutchinson, died on March 7, 2021, at her home. She was born May 19, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to Donald and Mary (Jarchow) Wagner.

Jean graduated high school in 1974, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She worked as a collection agent for a law office. Jean was a member of the American Legion and VFW auxiliary. She loved to read and made beautiful cross stitch pieces. Though she did not have her own children, Jean loved and spoiled any child that she knew.

On January 1, 1996, she married Thomas Scott Freeseman in Overland Park, Kansas. They shared 25 years together.

Jean is survived by: husband, Tom Freeseman, Hutchinson; brother, Richard Wagner, Spring, Texas; sister, Catherine Bernardy, Hutchinson, Minnesota; brother, Joseph Wagner, Eden Prairie, Minnesota; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time.

Memorials are suggested to the Food Bank of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
