Jean E. Geer's Obituary
Jean E. Geer, 91, died Feb. 28, 2010, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born April 17, 1918, in Walden, Colo., to William E. and Mary E. Donelson Rosenbaum.
On Oct. 22, 1938, she married Owen Virgil Geer in Rand, Colo. He died Jan. 10, 1993.
Jean moved to Hutchinson in October 2009, coming from Grand Junction, Colo. She was a homemaker. She was a member of North Park Community Church, North Park Women's Club, North Park Cattlewomen and North Park Pioneers Association.
Survivors include: a son, Mike Geer (Charlene), Blanding, Utah; two daughters, Judy Blandin (Don), Walden, Colo., and Jo Allard (Marc), Wellington, Colo.; five grandchildren: Marc Geer (Patty), Naturita, Colo., Michel Traher (Nick), Inman, Diane Allard, Fort Collins, Colo., Sam Blandin (Shelly), Briggsdale, Colo., and David Allard, Fort Collins, Colo.; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ray Blandin.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place in Colorado at a later date. Elliott Mortuary is handling arrangements.
