Obituary

PRATT - Jean Troyer, 54, died Sept. 6, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

She was born Dec. 1, 1955 in Evansville, Ind. to Titus B. and Joyce Franklin Clary.

Jean was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pratt. A resident of Pratt since 1992, she worked in the information technology department at Pratt Community College.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Friend's University. Jean was a member of the American Red Cross, and was a foster parent to many children.

On July 5, 1997 she married Clay Troyer in Monee, Ill. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Dale Schweizer and wife Dede, Danny Ramey, all of Larned, and Robert Rose, Nickerson; six daughters, Michelle Stout and husband Corky, Larned, Willow Navarro and husband Brad, Carrie Moon and husband Jeremy, all of Pratt, Anecia, BreAnna, and Charity Violetti, all of the home; two brothers, Roger Clary and wife Betty, Reno Nev. and Richard Hobbs, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Linda Smith and husband Dan, Baldwin City, Kan. and Kathy Reinert and husband Erv, Inman; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Ramey; two brothers, Charles and Steven Clary, and a sister, Marie.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at Elliott Chapel.

Burial will be in Penwell-Gable Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
