Jeanette A. "Jan" Crigger, 85, died June 25, 2008, at Hospice House.

She was born May 27, 1923, in Hobart, Okla., daughter of Julius Albert and Minnie Grother Grieser. She attended Hobart High School.

She was a Hutchinson resident since 1959, moving from Wichita. She was a retired school bus driver for Buhler School District #313.

She belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a member of Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chap. #1371, American Legion Women's Auxilary Unit #68, Hutchinson Women's Bowling Assoc., and Carey Park Women's Golf Assoc.

On Nov. 17, 1940, she married Lee Roy "Roy" Crigger in Cordell, Okla. He died Dec. 9, 1987.

Survivors include: sons, Lee Roy Crigger Jr, Hutchinson, Richard "Rick" Crigger, Merriam; daughters Julie McCurdy and husband Mark, Hutchinson; grandson, Jason Love and fiancé Jessica Osburn, Lawrence; granddaughter, Kaci Love, Lawrence; step-grandsons, Matthew McCurdy and wife Kelly, Hutchinson, and Ryan McCurdy and fiancée Hannah Lucas, Henderson, Nev.; step-great-granddaughter, Kinzie Jo McCurdy, Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Buhler Municipal Cemetery, Buhler.
