Obituary

OMAHA, Neb. - Jeanette Mae Keeler, 73, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Hutchinson, died Aug. 12, 2009, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha after a long battle with ALS.

She was born Oct. 14, 1935, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Harold D. Sr. and Daisy W. Greenfield Schrader. She attended schools in Hutchinson.

She married Jim Hopper, who was in the U.S. Navy, in 1957 in Hutchinson. They lived in Guam and later in Spain while he served in the military. He preceded her in death. She later married Marvin Keeler in 1973. They lived in Wichita and owned and operated a Laundry in Wichita.

Survivors include: her brother, Harold Shrader Jr., and his wife, Linda, Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Patricia Worley, Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009, in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. A visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with family to greet friends 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
