Jeannette E. Venable, 70, died Jan. 1, 2014, at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1943, in El Dorado, to Charles and Bonnie (Harper) Ritchey.
She was a retired accounting manager, having worked at Deluxe Manufacturing and Kingman Hospital. Jeannette was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include: fiance, Scott More of the home; two daughters, Tamme Buller and husband Eric, and Christine Venable and partner, Mary Grace Clements; two grandchildren, Bryson and Brianna Buller; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Zoey Buller; two sisters, Joyice Sykes and husband Thomas, and Gloria Hollenbeck and husband Don; two nieces, Holly Anderson and husband Mike, and Kathy Crawford; sister-in-law, Sharon More; and beloved dog, Charlie. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Willard Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
