Jeff Allen Rush's Obituary
TOPEKA - Jeff Allen Rush, 46, died Jan. 5, 2007, at the Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka.
He was born Nov. 20, 1960, in Hutchinson, the son of Jimmie D. and Lois M. Smyres Rush. He had been a Topeka resident since 1972, moving from Winfield.
He belonged to Park Place Christian Church, Hutchinson.
Survivors include: his mother, Lois Rush, Hutchinson; a brother, Howard and his wife, Sandy, Hutchinson; grandmother, Evelyn Garrett, Jetmore, and a nephew, Dustin Rush, Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Lewis and Wilma Smyres, and J.A. Rush.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Bob Dalke presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the North Inman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Kansas Neurological Institute, in care of the funeral home.
