Jeffrey K. 'Jeff' Giffin, 54, formerly of Hutchinson, died Friday, May 11, 2018, at his home in Winfield, KS. He was born April 19, 1964, in Orlando, FL, the son of Larry L. and Sharon K. (Coffman) Giffin.

Jeff was a 1982 graduate of Hutchinson High School and then attended Hutchinson Community College and Fort Hays State University. He was a computer and copier specialist, having worked for Eastman-Kodak and IBM Corporation.

Jeff is survived by: daughters, Kelsy Coulter and husband Ian, and Courtney Giffin, all of Wichita; his mother, Sharon Giffin-Solomon and her husband Terry Solomon of Mesquite, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, and his aunt and uncle, Sandra and Calvin Schenkel.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
