Jeffrey D. Loane, 86, husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Campbell Loane, died June 23, 2025, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Born August 17,1938 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late J. Bruce and Orphea Lucille Loane.

He was the former Co-Owner and manager of a Fishing Resort and was employed by various Corrections and Social Service Agencies in Kentucky and Kansas. He received his BA from Centre College, and MSW from Washington University of St. Louis. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include: two sons, Jeff Loane, Jr., and Martin Loane both of Burgin; and one daughter, Cynthia Sheldon of Hutchinson, Kansas. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; daughter, Christi Elizabeth Phillips; and brother, Alan Loane.

Private Services will be held at the Burgin Memorial Gardens, Burgin Kentucky.
