Jennifer R. Timmermeyer-Heckel, 27, of Hutchinson, died June 14, 2011, in her home in Hutchinson.

She was born July 25, 1983, in Wichita, the daughter of Marc and Carol Oster Timmermeyer.

She grew up in Wichita and graduated in 2001 from Wichita Heights High School and later received her Accounting degree from Wichita State University in 2008. She was a group leader in the Human Resources Department at Kroger Corporate Offices in Hutchinson. Jennifer was a member of the Church of The Holy Cross. She was devoted to her two boys, Brian and Tanner.

Jennifer married Brian Heckel on Sept. 5, 2009, in Wichita. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Tanner Heckel, of the home; a brother, Brent Timmermeyer; a sister, Barbara Wyss; her parents; and her grandmother, Mary Timmermeyer, all of Wichita; her mother-in-law, Cathy Spears of Lyons; her father-in-law, Robert Heckel of Hutchinson; her sister-in-law, Terri Heckel of Overland Park; three nieces and a nephew.

Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011, at the Church of The Holy Cross with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Burial will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. A rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011, followed by the family greeting friends from 4 to 6 p.m. all at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Public visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday 1 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Jenny Heckel Memorial Fund, a fund set up at First National Bank, and sent to Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
