Jennifer Walton, 50, of Hutchinson, died July 8, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1970, in Louisville, KY, to Melvin J. and Mary K. (Buehler) Walton.

Jennifer graduated from Buhler High School in 1991. She loved Jesus, her family, and animals. Jennifer was very active in TECH's Adult Life Skills program, where she was a prolific painter and participated in Faces of Faith, a mime group. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

As an adult, Jennifer worked at the Ramada, Golden Plains Nursing Home, and Pizza Ranch.

Jennifer is survived by: her parents, Melvin and Mary Walton; siblings, Eric and Elizabeth Walton, Amy and Matt Bretz; nephews, Marshall and Harrison Walton; nieces, Lauren and Hannah Bretz, all of Hutchinson; and numerous extended family members.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at First Church of the Nazarene, 4290 N. Monroe, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kent Pedersen officiating. Burial will follow in Partridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the church.
