Jerry John Chaffin's Obituary
Jerry John Chaffin, 56, died August 5, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born November 12, 1954 in Liberal to Raymond and Mary Gonzales Chaffin.
In 1988, he married Linda Miller in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include three children: Holly Manche, Sundi Reed and Justin Franz, all of Hutchinson; two brothers: Albert Chaffin Sr, Buhler and Joseph Chaffin, Mt. Hope; three sisters: Ellen Nancy and Rose Muñoz, both of Hutchinson and Betty Chaffin, Wichita; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim Chaffin and sisters, Frieda Rosas and Lilian Chaffin.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel with Reverend Dr Kim Biery officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be 9-9 Monday with the family present from 6-8 at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jerry Chaffin Memorial Fund in care of Elliott Mortuary.
