Jerry Eugene Reed, 56, of Hutchinson, died June 28, 2020, at his residence.  He was born May 3, 1964, in Hutchinson, to Jerry Lark and Carol Sue (Fontana) Reed.

Jerry enjoyed fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.  He loved telling stories, taking things apart, and then hopefully putting those things back together without having any extra parts.

Jerry is survived by:  sons, Daniel Reed and John Reed; daughter, Vanta Barry; girlfriend, Kathy Tracy; sisters, Chloie (Larry) White and Peggy (Elek) Grunwald; brother, Thomas (Marta) Reed; three grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jeffery Reed.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Gary Getting officiating.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
