Jerry Patton's Obituary
Jerry Patton, 68, died June 5, 2015, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita. He was born March 31, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo., to George and Gladys Patton.
He was a teacher for USD 308 for 17 years, teaching various ages throughout his career. Jerry was a member of CrossPoint Church, CrossPoint Riders, and the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Survivors include: his sons, Ryan Patton and wife Christina, Justin Patton and wife Michelle; daughter, Amber Van Riper and husband Brent, all of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Justina, RyLee, Jade, Roni; and brother, Don Patton of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Patton.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, at CrossPoint Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Andy Addis presiding. The family will greet friends following the service. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to CrossPoint Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
