Jesus Manuel "Boogie" Garcia, 25, Jessica Renae Garcia, 22, and their 20-month-old daughter Aubrianna Michelle Garcia died Jan. 20, 2007, in an automobile accident in Hutchinson.
Jesus was born Sept. 18, 1981, in Hutchinson, the son of Jose Manuel "Boogie" and Charlene Faye Martinez Garcia. He attended Hutchinson schools, including Trinity and Hutchinson High School. He was a supervisor for LEGG Corp. in Hesston.
Jessica was born Feb. 6, 1984, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Thomas Lee Mora and Connie Jean Evitt. She attended Buhler schools, and in 2002 graduated from Hutchinson High School. She was an assistant for Drs. Ball and Hansen in Hutchinson.
She was 17 weeks pregnant with their third child.
Aubrianna was born May 5, 2005, in Hutchinson.
The family belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe, South Hutchinson. Jessica belonged to the Ladies Altar Society of the church.
On Oct. 26, 2002, Jesus and Jessica were married in South Hutchinson at Our Lady Of Guadalupe.
Jessica and Jesus are survived by a daughter, Lorena M. Garcia.
Jesus' survivors include: his parents, Jose and Charlene Garcia, Hutchinson; a sister, Rosalinda Garcia, Hutchinson; and his grandmothers, Frances Martinez, Peabody, and Agustina Nava, Durango, Mexico.
Jessica's survivors include: her parents, Thomas Mora and wife Jolene, Hutchinson, and Connie Navarro and husband Steve, Hutchinson; three brothers, Vincent, Michael and Alexander Mora, all of Hutchinson; three sisters, Tara, Alyssa and Gabriella Mora, Hutchinson; grandparents, Toni Mora and Bill and Bonnie Evitt, all of Hutchinson.
Jesus was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Martinez and Bernabe Garcia. Jessica was preceded in death by a grandfather, Michael Mora.
Parish Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Of Guadalupe, South Hutchinson. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson, with Father Ned J. Blick officiating. Visitation is from 9 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the Lorena M. Garcia Educational Fund, in care of the funeral home.
