NICKERSON - Jim Goble, 57, died Friday, December 22, 2017, at his home in Nickerson. He was born February 29, 1960, in Wichita, to Cecil and Kathleen (Olmstead) Goble.
Jim graduated from Wichita North High School. He loved the outdoors and worked as an electrician for the IBEW. On January 6, 1979, he married Tracy Brix in Wichita. They shared 38 years of marriage.
Jim is survived by: wife, Tracy of Nickerson; children, Angie Goble and wife Jamie of Hutchinson, Jennifer Schneider and husband Michael of Nickerson; grandchildren, Michael, Dylan, and Brooklyn Schneider, Aaron Goble, Gabriel, and Samantha Holcomb; and sister, Anita Goble of Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Carey Park Homebuilders Shelter, 2 Emerson Loop, Hutchinson. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501, is in charge of arrangements.
