Jimmie J. Goering, 85, died November 10, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1937, in Pretty Prairie, to Ernest and Bertha (Unruh) Goering.

Jimmie graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1955, and then attended Hutchinson Community College. He was a supervisor for Cessna / Eaton for 39 years. Jimmie loved to go bowling and skeet shooting and he was a member of First Mennonite Church, Hutchinson.

On July 29, 1967, he married Florene Faye Flickner, in Pretty Prairie. She passed away on September 29, 2013.

Jimmie is survived by: nephews, Terry Goering (Renee), Hutchinson, Steve Goering (Debbie), Mullinville; nieces, Elizabeth Byers, Kingman, Vickie Goering-Bainum(Rex), Hutchinson; cousin, Lois Schlickau, Haven; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Florene; and siblings.

Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, November 18, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Lonestar Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.
