Joan Moulton, 77, died peacefully at her home on Jan. 26, 2017, Hutchinson. She was born Dec. 5, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of Chester B. and Vella H. (Wohlfarth) Moulton.

Joan graduated from Geneseo High School in 1957. She was a daycare provider and worked for the American Red Cross.

Survivors include: mother, Vella Moulton of Hutchinson; brother, Jerry Moulton and wife Lynn of Hutchinson; sister, Jean Gilbert of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Judith Kindle.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, in Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, with Pastor Paul Thurston presiding. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
