Joan Nyborg, 83, died September 13, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 26, 1930, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Edward and Ethel May (Johns) Nyborg. Joan was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and the FCE Homemakers Club.

She is survived by: a sister, Pearl Voth of Hutchinson; a brother, Lee Roy Nyborg and wife LaVada of South Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Eugenia Nyborg of Buhler; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Robert Nyborg.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
