PLEVNA - JoAnn Dennis, 67, went to be with Our Lord, Sept. 17, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born April 4, 1942, to Harry Wesley and Myrtle Mae Horton Teeter at Garden City.

She had been a secretary at the FSA Office, Garden City; Dillon Corporate Office, Hutchinson; and then 20 years at USD #310, Fairfield, retiring in 2007.

She had been a member of Plevna Community Bible Church.

On Feb. 19, 1967, she married Ronald C. Dennis at Johnson. He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters and husbands, Dawn and Mike Snow, DeAnne and Jason Sullivan, all of Wichita; her mother, Johnson; brother, Glen and Velta Teeter, Johnson; sister, Janice Battin, Ulysses; five grandchildren, Brayden Dennis, Savannah and Skyler Snow, Kynadee and Chayse Sullivan; four nephews; and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bradley John Dennis; her father; and brother-in-law, Charles Battin.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Pastor David Green and Mike Snow and Dr. Alva F. Goossen presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday with family present from 4 to 6 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
