JoAnn Lee, 87, died May 28, 2013, in Lawton, Okla. She was born June 17, 1925, in Kremlin, Okla., the daughter of James and Stella Brown Herbison.
She was a homemaker and had worked for Barkley's Kwik Wash.
On Jan. 21, 1946, she married Edward Silas Lee Sr. in Newton, Kan. He died Feb. 20, 1995.
Survivors include: daughter, Reba Kay Cruz (Jose), Jones, Okla.; two daughters-in-law, Jane Lee, Partridge, Kan., Linda Lee, Lathrop, Mo.; five grandchildren, Heather Shackelford, Alicia Gordon (Jason), Michelle Taylor (Mark), Marcus Iven, Melannie Jantzen (Jay); and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Edward S. Lee, Jr. and Larry A. Lee; five sisters, Marie, Virginia, Donna, Doris, and Imogene; and five brothers, Edgar, Claude, Charles, Pete and Clarence.
Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Fairview Cemetery, Elmer, Kan., with Wayne Jackson presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wichita Mountain Estates Fire Department or Dillon Nature Center, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson KS 67501.
