Joey Christine "MaMah" Tatro, 45, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 7, 2017. She was born June 23, 1971, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Monty and Sandra (Check) Stout.

Joey graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1989 and Southwestern College, Winfield, in 2012. She was a mental health director for eight years at Horizon's Mental Health Center. Joey was a member of L.E.O. Wives and an avid animal lover, including her favorite pet, Francis, and others, Gabby, Bella, Wednesday, and Benelli.

On Jan. 10, 1997, she married Matthew A. Tatro, in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: twin daughters, Audrey Snell and husband Michael of Debary, Fla., Ashley Nickel and husband Ryan of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Ryley, Ava, Madison, Adeline; parents, Sandy Hayes and husband John, and Monty Stout and wife Linda; and grandmother, Patricia Stout, all of Hutchinson; sister, Kelly Railsback and husband Anson of Hutchinson; brother, Monty Stout and wife Trisha of Olathe; twin nieces, Carsyn and Macyn Stout of Olathe; nephew, Brad Railsback and wife Maddison; and niece, Emilee Railsback, all of Hutchinson. Joey was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Stout.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at CrossPoint Church, 1410 E. 30th Avenue, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Chad Trunkhill and Father Joe Tatro presiding. Friends may sign her register book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Family will receive friends following the service on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter or Kansas Concerns of Police Survivors, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
