John Paul Davis, 65, of Newton died December 21, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born June 20, 1958, in Wichita, to William Thomas Sr. and Mary Rose (Bedore) Davis.

John worked as a welder for Agco in Hesston. He was a welder most of his life. John enjoyed dancing and being an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley all the way to Sturgis, South Dakota to attend the motorcycle rallies, and flying his airplane, his friends often called him "flyboy."

John is survived by: his children, Megan Davis of Hutchinson and son, Joshua Davis of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
