John G. “Jack” Harris, 84, died July 22, 2026, at Reflection Living, Hutchinson. He was born April 3, 1942, in Kansas City, MO, and adopted by John Peter and Sue Catherine (Graham) Harris.

Jack graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1961, and Hutchinson Community Junior College in 1963. Jack was a stockholder and co-owner of Harris Enterprises. He enjoyed working in his shop, anything to do with trains, and boating on his yacht in Canada.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Kathy S. (Brian) Reffner of Hutchinson and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wives, Marian and Chris; daughter, Carole; and grandson, T.J.

Private inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
