John Leonard Yehle, 82, died December 11, 2013, at Dillon Living Center. He was born June 11, 1931, to Johnnie Lee and Zona Johnson Yehle in Hutchinson. John was in the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He worked in construction and was a master carpenter.

On May 24, 1971, John married Anna May Burbridge in Iola, KS. She survives. Other survivors include: daughters, Michelle Harness and husband Ed of Aurora, CO, and Amy Donelson and husband Gerry, Essie Yehle, all of Hutchinson; sons, Leslie Yehle, and Derrick Yehle all of Hutchinson; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewel Neufeld, Janet Gisel, all of Hutchinson, Lafaun Cranor, of Iola, KS, Marilyn Wilhite, of Oklahoma City, OK, Lynne Walborn of Great Falls, MT; brothers, Ray Yehle of Meridian, ID, Bill Yehle, of Rogue River, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Shirley Colbert, Beverly Yehle and Joyce Phipps.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford presiding. Friends may sign the book Sunday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
