Johnnie Steven (Steve) Gregg passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS on August 29, 2024.

Steve is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters Gina Picart of Tulsa, OK, Robin Roberson (Brian) of Germantown, MD, and Rhonda Horton (Craig) of Blue Springs, MS; brothers, Curtis Gregg (Judy) and Terry Gregg (Sandy). Steve was also influential in the lives of Debra Astle of St. John, KS, Suzanne Vieyra of Manhattan, KS and Pedro "Pete" Vieyra of Wichita, KS. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members were close to his heart.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vivian Gregg and beloved sister Janis Thomas.

Born in Nickerson, KS on August 7, 1944 he lived in Stafford County and graduated from Hudson High School in 1962. After 25 years in Tulsa, OK Steve and his wife, Gail moved back to Nickerson. Working outside and being productive was a huge part of his life.

His faithful companion was his dog, Sheba, they were inseparable.

A celebration of life will be held on September 14, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Recreation Pavilion, 7803 W. Nickerson Blvd, Hutchinson KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
