Obituary

Jon Scott 'Willie' Knudson, 60, of Hutchinson, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1957, in Colby, the son of Kermit C. and Bertha (Hayes) Knudson.

He was a 1975 graduate of Colby High School, a 1977 graduate of Colby Community College and a 1980 graduate of North Central Technical College, Beloit. Willie was a computer programmer analyst for 34 years at Tyson Foods.

Jon was Sue's best friend and loving husband. He was a dedicated family man and was loved by all who met him. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, however, his favorite hobby was woodworking.

On May 30, 1981, he married Susan Kay Winder in Osborne. She survives. Also surviving are: his siblings, Kerma Kutz of Beach City, Ohio, Judy Barridge (Benny) of Harrison, Arkansas, Jana Logan (Bob) of McCook, Nebraska, Jeff (Lisa) of Gilbert, Arizona, twin, Jay (Rhonda) of Great Bend; sister- in- law, Kenna Boyle (Alan) of Caldwell; brothers-in-law, Ron Winder of Osborne, Tim Winder (Angie) of Eads, Colorado, and Rick Winder (Charyne) of Osborne.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Bertha Knudson; father, Kermit; mother and father-in-law, Pat and Kenny Winder.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2017, in Osborne Cemetery, with Pastor Dorothy Ellsworth. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign his book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Osborne County Memorial Hospital, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
