Jonas Nisly, 68, died Oct. 15, 2005, in Partridge.
He was born Oct. 6, 1937, in rural Hutchinson, the son of Samuel J. and Delilah Beiler Nisly. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was retired from Dillons as a maintenance supervisor.
He belonged to Plainview Mennonite Church.
On May 6, 1961, he married Ellen Yoder in Hartville, Ohio. She survives.
Other survivors include: five daughters, Sharon Miller, Albuquerque, N.M., Shirley Nisly, Hutchinson, Shawna Morris, Houston, Sheryl Miller, Middlebury, Ind., and Sheila Bartley, Perrysburg, Ohio; three brothers, Melvin, Menno and John Miller, all of Hutchinson; four sisters, Amanda Yoder and Mary Nisly, both of South Hutchinson, Emma Stutzman and Katie Helmuth, both of Hutchinson; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Bontrager.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Plainview Mennonite Church, with Pastors Ivan Miller, Loren Miller and Ken Miller presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the family present. Burial will be in Plainview Mennonite Church Cemetery.
