TOPEKA - Jonathan Tyler Rostine, 28, died Aug. 22, 2008, in Wabaunsee County.
He was born April 10, 1980, in Hutchinson, the son of James and Rose Ann Rostine. He was a resident of Topeka for the past eight years. He was the former owner of E.V.I.C. and Juls in Topeka.
He was a 1998 graduate of Southeast of Saline High School and had attended Washburn University, Topeka.
Survivors include: his parents, James "Jim" and Rose Ann Rostine, Prescott Ariz.; brother Ryan Rostine, Los Angeles, Calif.; sister Jessica Baumgardner, Dayton, Ohio; Grandfather, Boyd L. Rostine, Hutchinson; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delmas Kling, Hutchinson, Nieces, Trinitey, Jami, Jessi and Halie; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, June Davis Rostine and LaVera M. Rostine.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Elliot Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery, McPherson.
Friends may call at Elliott Mortuary Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
