Jonathan Jeff Sisler, 53, surrounded by his loved ones, went home to be with his Lord, Sept. 29, 2015. He was born March 18, 1962, in Turlock, Calif., the son of Rowland Jack and Stella (Parks) Sisler.
Jeff graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1981. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and had been active in the church, serving as a caravan leader and sang in the choir. Jeff was an avid Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed wood carving. Jeff loved God and his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren, Alex "Tiger" and Sofia "Squeaker" Bruno.
On June 24, 1983, he married the love of his life, Sheryl L. Miller in Hutchinson. The Lord blessed them with 32 wonderful years together. Survivors include: wife, Sheryl of the home; daughter, Sarah Bruno and husband Joshua of Lyons; grandchildren, Alexander and Sofia Bruno of Lyons; siblings, Rowland John Sisler and wife Linda, Karen Frye and husband Larry, Delma Thiel and husband Leon, all of Hutchinson, Paul Schumacher, Steve Wixel, Doug, and Tammy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends as their love is carried with him to eternity.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at First Church of the Nazarene, 43rd and Monroe, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kent Pedersen and Reverend Bones Nay officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
