Josephine Anne "Josie" Flora, 71, died June 12, 2007, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Hutchinson, the daughter of James Wilbour and Christine Josephine Haas Walden. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker, owner of Flora's Custom Quilting and a longtime Avon representative.
She was a lifetime member of both Kansas State Rabbit Breeder and Salt City Rabbit Breeders. She made and donated quilts for area fundraisers.
On July 29, 1970, she married Stanley Mack Flora in Ardmore, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include: four sisters, Louella Mercer, Pueblo, Colo., Donna Bartholomew and Dorothy Anderson, both of Hutchinson, and Mary Shea, Wichita; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; and a brother, Delbert Bartholomew.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Paul Danner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
