BUHLER - Josephine Sheridan, 87, died November 30, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1925, to Jake and Katherine Ann Lamberta Quartararo in Kanopolis, KS. She graduated from Kanopolis High School in 1945. She was a homemaker and retired as a housekeeper at Buhler Sunshine Home, and was a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church.

On September 4, 1949, she married Alex Weston Sheridan in Ellsworth, KS. He survives. Other survivors include: three sons, Edwin Sheridan of Emporia, KS, Patrick Sheridan of Hutchinson, KS, and Timothy Sheridan and wife Erin of Mulvane, KS; grandchildren, Jessica Akin, Tahlequah, OK, Caitlin Sheridan, Emporia, KS, Tyler Sheridan, Mulvane, KS; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Hibbs Hinkle.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Joe Rychcik presiding. Friends may sign the book Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, or New Covenant Presbyterian Church, all in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS.
