Joshua Darin Thomas, 35, died in Hutchinson Feb. 25, 2010. He was born May 17, 1974, in Hutchinson to Tommy and Sheila Groseclose Thomas.

He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. He had been a student at Central Christian College, McPherson, and Barclay College, Haviland.

Survivors include: his mother and stepfather, Sheila and Bill McLain; brother, Shane, all of Hutchinson; grandmother, Jeanette Millspaugh, Hutchinson; step-grandmother, Loretta Groseclose, Kansas City, Kan.; and nephew and niece, Bret Thomas, Wichita, and Kelsey Thomas, Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his father; twin brother, Ryan; infant brother, Sean; and grandparents, Donald Groseclose, Harvey Millspaugh and Julius and Xantha Thomas.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at First Southern Baptist Church, 1201 E. 23rd Av., Hutchinson, with Pastor Ray E. Kempel officiating. Friends may sign his book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Reins of Hope or to the church.
