Joyce Louise Carlo, 72, died Dec. 28, 2008, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born Jan. 30, 1935, in Hammonton, N.J., the daughter of Mathew William and Elise Cleveland Bringer. She graduated from Hammonton, N.J. high school. She had been a nurse and waitress most of her life.

Survivors include: a granddaughter, Crystal Miller; a grandson, Lance Wood; great-grandchildren, Jarad Wood, Trae Taylor, Dion Miller, Isaiah Miller, Lance Wood II, Trenton Wood and Taylor Joyce Wood; a daughter, Cheryl Edwards, all of Hutchinson; sons, Jim, Minnesota, and Rick, Washington; a brother, Butchie Bringer, Virginia; sisters, Brenda DiGioia, and Dottie Bringer, both of New Jersey; and a brother, Buddie Bringer, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday Jan. 2, 2008, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Quinton Moore presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
