Joyce A. Mciver's Obituary
Joyce A. McIver, 60, died Jan. 30, 2008, at Galichia Heart Hospital, Wichita.
She was born Nov. 1, 1947, in Newton, the daughter of Adolph Edward and Mildred Arf Smith. She graduated from Newton High School. A resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker and Avon Sales Representative.
She belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2550, and the AmVets Post No. 11 Auxiliary.
On Jan. 31, 1991, she married Everette S. McIver in Newton. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Everette S., II, of the home; and two sisters, Bonnie Voght, and Janice Steed, both of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Eastside Cemetery Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Larry Wedel presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research, or the American Heart Association, both in care of the mortuary.
