Joyce E. Prickett's Obituary
Joyce E. Prickett, 75, died Dec. 18, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Horace B. and Mildred Marie Hauser VanCampen. She was a 1949 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was a retired cashier from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
She belonged to Park Place Christian Church and Telephone Pioneers of America.
On March 28, 1952, she married Robert R. Prickett. He died June 8, 1979.
Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Norquist and husband, Rex, Hutchinson, and Pam Kline, Hutchinson; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lawson and husband, Todd, Key West, Fla., and Matthew Delventhal and wife, Kym, Kansas City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Stephen Kline; and a brother, Forrest VanCampen.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will remain closed.
Memorials may be sent to the church, the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association, in care of the funeral home.
