Juanita Lambert, 72, passed away on August 20, 2026, at St. Francis- Via Christi in Wichita. She was born January 4, 1954, in Hutchinson, KS, to Charles Leon Blew and Alice Violet (Borth) Blew.

Juanita graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1972. She was a proud military wife and devoted mother who dedicated her life to caring for and raising her family. They were the center of her life, and she cherished the time they shared together

In her spare time, Juanita enjoyed watching her favorite television programs, gardening, and lovingly tending to her flower garden. She had a deep love for animals of all kinds and found great fulfillment in helping those in need. Before her husband’s passing, Juanita and her husband shared a special passion for rescuing sea turtles, creating beautiful memories together through their efforts.

On April 14, 1979, she married Jimmie Lee Lambert in Hutchinson. They shared over 29 years of marriage, prior to his death on May 8, 2008.

Juanita is survived by: her sons, Paul Lambert of Southaven, MS, and Matthew Lambert of South Hutch, KS; siblings, Bonnie (Jim) Enns- Probst of Andover, KS, Trudy (Bob) Riley of Hutchinson, KS, Charles Ray (Kelly) Blew of Las Cruces, NM, and Mary Alice (Bob) Fine of Lenexa, KS; grandson, Ethan Lambert of Southaven, MS; and 4 stepsons, Tim, Ronnie, Garry and Shawn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lambert and her parents, Charles and Alice Blew.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. A private family interment will take place later in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, where she will be buried alongside her husband.

Instead of flowers, memorials are suggested to be made to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
