Juanita May Warkentine's Obituary
Juanita May Warkentine, 90, passed away March 1, 2011, at Bethesda Home, Goessel, Kan.
She was born Nov. 11, 1920, in El Dorado, Kan., the daughter of Harold S. and Ethel H. McClellan Morse.
Juanita graduated from Buhler High School in 1939. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Zeta Gamma Chapter of Phi Beta Psi Sorority.
On June 1, 1941, she married Orval R. "Corky" Warkentine in Cunningham, Kan. He died Dec. 21, 2001.
Survivors include: a daughter, Deanna Vincent of Hutchinson; a son, Terry Warkentine of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Elvina Robin of Safety Harbor, Fla.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Bill Eichelberger presiding. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Buhler Municipal Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Phi Beta Psi Sorority or Bethesda Home in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
