Judith Ann Gabel's Obituary
Judith Ann Gabel, 70, died Aug. 16, 2013, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, Kan. She was born Dec. 10, 1942, to Harry and Alice Schooler Mooney in Hutchinson, Kan.
She was a 1960 graduate of Hutchinson High School. Judith moved to Wichita in 1974 and worked for Cessna as a key punch operator. Then in 1996 she moved to the Kansas City area and retired from Andrews McMeel Publishing Company in accounts payable. Survivors include: daughter, Kendra Robins and Jim Braun of Wichita; son, Kriss Gabel of Olathe; sister, Jackie Royal of Everett, Wash.; grandchildren, Ashlee Robins of Wichita, Tyler Robins and wife Elizabeth of Wichita, Matthew Buck of Olathe, Kyle Buck of Olathe; great-grandsons, Brayden and Rylan Robins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Amy Foster presiding. Cremation will follow and burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
