Judith "Judy" Miller, 94, of Hutchinson, went to her heavenly home on June 3, 2016. She was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Bremen, Ind., to Levi S. and Sarah (Yoder) Schrock.

Judy was a homemaker with many interests. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, and sewing. Her love for sewing led Judy to her joy of quilting; she made all of her nine grandchildren a quilt, which they will treasure forever. Judy was a faithful member of Center Amish Mennonite Church.

On Nov. 11, 1948, she married Perry L. Miller in Riverside, Iowa, and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage. He survives. For many years, she devoted her life to caring for their handicapped son. During their retirement years, Judy and Perry did many things together. They especially enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family and working trade shows in representation of the family business.

Other survivors include: sons, Gary Paul and wife Rosanna, Linford James, and Allen Jason, all of Hutchinson, Wilbur Jay and wife Shirley of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Olen and Leo Schrock of Kalona, Iowa; two sisters, Sylvia Ropp and Alma Nisly of Kalona, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Perry, Elmer and Edwin Schrock; and sister, Mary Schrock Miller.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Center Amish Mennonite Church, 7611 W. Morgan, Hutchinson, with David Yoder, Dwight Miller, and Julian Nisly officiating. Burial will follow in West Center Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Mennonite Friendship Communities, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
