Judy Ann Ward, 67, of Hutchinson, died April 6, 2011, at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita.
She was born Dec. 26, 1943, at Oshkosh, Neb. the daughter of Hardy and Olene Whatley Stockman.
She was a graduate of Stafford Kansas High School in 1961, and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Hutchinson. She had lived most of her adult life in Hutchinson and had worked many years in the supply department (SPD) at St. Elizabeth's Hospital and later at Hutchinson Hospital. She currently was the manager at Garden Grove Apartments in Hutchinson.
Survivors include: daughters, Cathy Jones and husband Bob of Hutchinson and Candy Nawroth and husband Michael of Simi Valley, Calif.; a brother, Richard Stockman of Westminister, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Jack Crossman of Los Altos, Calif.; two nieces; a nephew; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Harolyn Crossman, and two grandsons, Cody Jones and Ricky Collins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Elliott Mortuary, with Bones Nay presiding. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Stafford Cemetery at Stafford. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. till service time on Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
