PLEASANT VIEW - Julia Ann Stutzman, 40, died at her home, Nov. 6, 2012. She was born to Perry Lee and Judith Nisly Stutzman on Oct. 27, 1972, in Hutchinson.
She was a member of Center Amish Mennonite Church. Julia Ann loved her church and the many friends she worshiped with and greatly appreciated the support that she felt from the body of the church. She faithfully attended nearly all singings, which she immensely enjoyed, knowing many of the songs by heart.
It wasn't uncommon to hear her humming songs at her daily work including house cleaning or baby-sitting. Julia had a love for children, and they certainly knew where to come for candy after church. She had a special place in her heart for babies, whom she could spend hours rocking. Her longing for heaven became greater as she experienced pain daily because of liver cancer. We rejoice in the fact that she was ready to be with Jesus in heaven.
Julia will be missed by her parents, Perry Lee and Judith Stutzman of Hutchinson; her siblings, Owen and Wanda Stutzman of Arlington, Twila Stutzman of Oklahoma City, Okla., Lyle and Maria Stutzman of Hutchinson; her delightful nieces and nephews, Matthias, Isaiah, Isabella and Adalina Stutzman; and her grandparents, Melvin and Fannie Nisly of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tobe and Emma Stutzman
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Center Amish Mennonite Church, with Dwight Miller and Julian Nisly serving. Burial will be in West Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to the Center Missions. Arrangements rendered by Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
