June E. Rich's Obituary
June E. Rich, 82, died Oct. 20, 2006, at Thorne Care Center at Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.
She was born June 17, 1924, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Martin and Mary Alice Burdick Rowland. She was a 1942 graduate of Buhler High School. A longtime Hutchinson resident, formerly of Pratt, she was a homemaker and operated 5-R Kennels.
She was a former member of Union Valley Bible Church and was attending Temple Baptist Church.
On Oct. 15, 1943, she married Warren L. Rich in Hutchinson. He died Dec. 22, 1969.
Survivors include: a son, Dan and wife, Becky, Hutchinson; a daughter, Kim Albright and husband, Bruce, Inman; a brother, Bill Rowland, Buhler; a sister, Jean Martens, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary; brother, Wayne Rowland; and two sisters, Helen England and Grace Bridgewater.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Willard Stafford presiding. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery, rural Hutchinson.
