Obituary

Karen Sue Inghram, 71, died Jan. 2, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Jan. 4, 1937, in Hutchinson, the daughter of James Albert and Mary E. Burch Henry.

She attended schools in Hutchinson. A resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.

She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

On Oct. 15, 1977, she married David Lee Inghram in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: two sons, James M. Brooks, Hutchinson, and Greg T. Brooks, Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Dana S. Brooks-Owens and husband Ray, Monroe, La.; four sisters, Joyce Hutchinson, Kingman, Pat Truchon, Carl Junction, Mo., Janet Dean, Denver, and Linda Wilson, Lee's Summit, Mo.; her father-in-law, Everett, Hutchinson; two brothers-in-law, Ron, Hutchinson, and Rick, Stilwell; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at Kingdom Hall, Hutchinson, with Tony Perkins presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Darlow.
