Mohr
May 14, 1942 – November 30, 2022
Karen Rose Etta Mohr, 80, died November 30, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1942, in Lerado, to Fay and Luressa (Powell) Clough.
Karen was a graduate of Fairfield High School in 1960 and later from Hutchinson Community College. She worked for International Homes for 40 years as a bookkeeper. Karen also did bookkeeping for Mohr auto that she owned with her husband. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing bunko, and square dancing. Karen also loved her two cats, Mikey and Angel, and her golden retriever, Goldie. She was a member of Park Place Christian Church.
Karen married Dale Althaus in 1961. Together they had a son and a daughter, but later divorced. On April 19, 1998, she married Wesley Ralph Mohr. He passed away on March 1, 2013.
Karen is survived by: son, Marty Althaus, Hutchinson; daughter, Sandy Baumann (Mark), Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; grandchildren, Bryce Baumann, Britany McConnaughy, Jennifer and Breanna Althaus; great-grandchildren, Jaiden Baumann, Wyatt, Savannah, and Weston McConnaughy, Riley Althaus; sister; Kristy Zimmerman, Hutchinson; and brother, Roger Clough, Stafford.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; stepmother, Pauline Clough; ex-husband, Dale Althaus; husband, Wes Mohr; brothers, Doug, Tom, and Vic Clough; and sisters, Pat Stout, Jackie Richardson, and Debbie Willis.
Funeral service will be 10 am Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Park Place Christian Church, with the Reverend Doctor David Dubovich officiating. Burial will follow in Lerado Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 am to 8 pm Friday with the family present from 6 to 8 pm at Elliott Mortuary.
