Karilynn Bogner, 63, died July 12, 2024, in Wichita. She was born February 27, 1961, in Pomona, CA, to Keith A. French and Phyllis M. (Anderson) Horgan.

Karilynn graduated from Cypress High School, Cypress, CA, in 1979, and Hutchinson Community Junior College with an Associates of Arts. She worked in human resources and accounting for various businesses. Karilynn was currently working as an administrator at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. She enjoyed poetry, listening to music, singing, reading, watching movies, helping others and spending time with her friends from CrossPoint.

On April 7, 1990, Karilynn married James Bogner, in Haven. They shared over 31 years of marriage, prior to his death on August 12, 2021.

Karilynn is survived by: her daughter and son in-law; grandchildren; mother, Phyllis Horgan; father, Keith (Linda) French; brothers, Mark (Theresa) French, Todd (Jackie) French; stepbrothers, Mike Horgan, John Horgan; stepsisters, Ann (Kent) Keller, Shelly Irizarry; uncle, Greg (Darcy) French, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Valley Township Cemetery, rural Haven. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, at Elliott Mortuary.
